Dr David Rowe, B.A. (Arch.), B.Arch (Hons.), PhD (Arch.), Director, Authentic Heritage Services Pty Ltd, has 14 years experience in heritage conservation, architecture, architectural history, planning, and the development of Heritage Studies, Conservation Management Plans and also heritage advisory services to local governments. David has sound knowledge and experience in the application of heritage policy and legislation from the private sector and from local, state and federal government perspectives. In addition to the completion of numerous conservation management plans and heritage studies, he has been an “on call” heritage advisor to a local municipality in Victoria. David is also a full member of Australia ICOMOS. In 1997 he completed his Doctoral thesis that examined the architectural career of Australia’s first Commonwealth Government Architect, John Smith Murdoch. |
